Ah, the first story in my Newsies arc...this one begins all the
way back in 1886, and tells the story of Crutchy's family from his mother's point of view.
I decided he was Scottish. I don't know where it came from, but
he seemed Scottish.
His mother's name, Hadder, comes from a book I read when I was
younger called Hadder MacColl.
